Tom Emmer, U.S. Congressman representing Minnesota’s 6th district, posted a series of tweets on July 25, 2025, ranging from personal celebrations to criticism of media coverage.

In his first tweet at 14:24 UTC, Emmer marked a personal milestone by writing, "Happy anniversary to my beautiful wife and best friend, Jacquie. Every year with you is better and better. I love you."

Later that day at 18:13 UTC, he promoted an upcoming radio appearance: "Looking forward to joining @ScottJenningsKY on his new radio show this afternoon. Be sure to tune in at 2:30PM ET."

Emmer also criticized local media in a tweet posted at 19:37 UTC: ".@StarTribune is a sorry excuse for journalism. Look no further than their defense of illegal alien sex offenders."

Tom Emmer has served in the U.S. Congress since 2015 after succeeding Michele Bachmann as the representative for Minnesota's 6th District. He previously held office in the Minnesota House of Representatives from 2005 to 2011 and resides in Delano. Born in South Bend, Indiana in 1961, Emmer holds degrees from the University of Alaska-Fairbanks and William Mitchell College of Law.
