Tom Emmer, U.S. Congressman representing Minnesota’s 6th district since 2015, has recently posted a series of messages on his social media account addressing political issues, offering condolences for a public figure, and marking a personal milestone.
On July 23, 2025, Emmer commented on current political tensions by stating: "The Fake News will do whatever it takes to protect the crooked Democrats and their outrageous assault against our Democracy."
A day later, on July 24, 2025, he addressed the passing of wrestling icon Hulk Hogan. Emmer wrote: "Hulk Hogan was a true American icon and a warrior for the MAGA movement. I join President @realDonaldTrump in sending my deepest condolences to his loved ones, fans, and wife, Sky."
On July 25, 2025, Emmer shared a personal message celebrating his wedding anniversary: "39 years ago today, I became the luckiest man in the world. Happy anniversary, sweetheart!"
Emmer succeeded Michele Bachmann as representative of Minnesota’s 6th district in Congress in 2015 after previously serving in the Minnesota House of Representatives from 2005 to 2011. Born in South Bend, Indiana in 1961 and currently residing in Delano at age 62, Emmer graduated from the University of Alaska-Fairbanks with a BA in 1984 and earned his JD from William Mitchell College of Law four years later.
