Tom Emmer, U.S. Congressman representing Minnesota’s 6th district since 2015, posted a series of statements on November 7, 2025, expressing support for colleagues and making pointed criticisms of political opponents.

In a post made at 13:04 UTC, Emmer endorsed Elise Stefanik for New York office, stating: "There’s no one better to save New York than my friend and colleague @EliseStefanik - GO WIN!"

Later that day at 14:42 UTC, Emmer commented on the Democratic Party's future by referencing specific individuals: "This is the future of the Democrat Party. Zohran Mamdani—a self-proclaimed COMMUNIST—as NYC Mayor, and Jay Jones as Virginia AG, the same radical who fantasized about putting bullets in his political opponent’s head! This is the dangerous, anti-American left on full display."

At 21:25 UTC, Emmer criticized Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer regarding government operations: "Chuck Schumer shut down the government, holding paychecks hostage from hardworking Americans for his own sleazy political games. Time to RETIRE Chuck… right next to Nancy!"

Emmer has served in Congress since replacing Michele Bachmann in 2015 and previously held office in the Minnesota House of Representatives from 2005 to 2011. Born in South Bend, Indiana in 1961 and currently residing in Delano, he holds a BA from the University of Alaska-Fairbanks and a JD from William Mitchell College of Law.
