Tom Emmer, U.S. Congressman representing Minnesota’s 6th district since 2015, highlighted recent visits by federal officials to Minnesota manufacturers and promoted the impact of Republican-backed tax policies in a series of posts on September 2, 2025.

In one post dated September 2, Emmer wrote, ".@SecretaryLCD toured Cambria manufacturing, where the business will have more opportunities to invest in their workers thanks to tax relief in the One Big Beautiful Bill." On the same day, he posted another message: "Throughout the month of August, we welcomed @SecretaryLCD, @EPALeeZeldin, and @FTAMarcMolinaro to Minnesota to see firsthand the GREAT achievements of our state’s workers, farmers, and manufacturers." A third post followed: ".@FTAMarcMolinaro joined me at @newflyer in my congressional district to showcase how American manufacturing is BOOMING under the Trump administration and the Republicans’ pro-manufacturing tax policies in the One Big Beautiful Bill."

Emmer has served as a member of Congress for Minnesota's 6th District since succeeding Michele Bachmann in 2015. Before his tenure in Congress, he was a member of the Minnesota House of Representatives from 2005 to 2011. Born in South Bend, Indiana in 1961 and currently residing in Delano, Emmer holds a BA from the University of Alaska-Fairbanks and a JD from William Mitchell College of Law.
