City of Buffalo issued the following announcement on Dec. 11.
On the evening of 12-08-20 the Buffalo Police Department hosted “Shop with A Hero,” at the Buffalo Walmart. BPD was assisted by members of the Buffalo Fire Department, Howard Lake’s Police and Fire Departments and the Annandale Police Department.
$3,800 was raised and spent on 37 children living in Wright County who were referred to the program by Wright County Health and Human Services.
Shopping was made possible through a generous Walmart Community Grant, and donations from Bernick’s and the Howard Lake Legion, Post 145.
