Later that day, at 4:11 p.m. UTC, he continued his criticism by stating, "Democrats stare right directly into the eyes of legal American citizens demanding WE pay the healthcare bills of illegals otherwise Democrats will continue shutting the government down."

At 4:56 p.m. UTC, Lucero posted another tweet comparing Republican and Democratic priorities: "The tale of two vastly different priorities:

Republicans = prioritize safety and security of U.S. citizens

Democrats = prioritize criminal gangs and illegals vs. citizens"
