Walter Hudson comments on brand strategy and law enforcement in recent tweets

Walter Hudson, a public commentator, addressed topics ranging from brand marketing to law enforcement and judicial accountability in a series of posts on X (formerly Twitter) dated August 24 and 25, 2025.

On August 24, Hudson discussed business strategy, stating: "All they had to do to be successful was lean into their brand. Market to churches and traditional conservatives. That was their customer base. But they hate normalcy, apparently."

The following day, he commented on recent law enforcement actions in Washington D.C., writing: "1000 arrests in DC due to Trump's crackdown. In a town of 702,225. That's 0.14% of the population. And the result is remarkably safe and clean streets. Zero murders in the last week. Why do we let a minority of repeat offenders terrorize American cities?" This post refers to reported increases in policing initiatives that have led to notable reductions in crime rates in certain urban areas.

Later on August 25, Hudson addressed judicial proceedings with skepticism about accountability: "We'll see if the judge holds him accountable. Not holding my breath."

Hudson's commentary comes amid ongoing national discussions about public safety measures and criminal justice reform. Recent efforts by some U.S. cities have included intensified policing strategies aimed at reducing violent crime rates and addressing concerns over repeat offenders.
