Walter Hudson, a Minnesota state representative, posted a series of tweets on August 14, 2025, addressing topics ranging from law enforcement policies in Minneapolis to his views on socialism and social media interactions.

In an early morning tweet, Hudson criticized the city's policing approach: "Not pursuing suspects is not enforcing the law. That's Minneapolis policy. Law-abiding? You're on your own. It's the wild west. No one's coming to help you." (August 14, 2025).

Later that day, he commented on historical and political issues, stating: "This is why they built the Berlin Wall. Obviously. It's why I have no tolerance for the intellectual deficiency required to believe in socialism." (August 14, 2025).

In a third post that evening, Hudson reflected on his experience with online discourse: "I get a certain pleasure in logging in, scrolling my notifications, and realizing that - while I've been happily enjoying my family and being productive - absolute loons have been wasting their life away being angry and incoherent." (August 14, 2025).

Hudson serves as a Republican member of the Minnesota House of Representatives. His remarks about Minneapolis policing reference ongoing debates over public safety policies in major U.S. cities.
