Walter Hudson, a Minnesota state representative, published a series of posts on July 22, 2025, expressing concerns about alleged fraud and the focus of public discourse regarding state payments to service providers. In his tweets, Hudson draws parallels between contemporary issues and historical injustices while calling for accountability from those in positions of authority.

In a post made at 00:47 UTC, Hudson wrote: "Fraud is the point. It's the objective, not an anomaly. Notice, no where in these comments is any concern for service recipients. The focus is entirely on 'providers' not getting payments from the state. This is consistent with the leaked Ellison audio earlier this year."

Later that night at 00:54 UTC, he stated: "If social media existed during chattel slavery in the South, this would be what they'd post. h/t @realakkamara"

At 01:20 UTC on July 22, Hudson continued: "This point can't be overemphasized. The People are sick and tired of hearing about how terrible the Left is. They want and deserve justice. Those who have abused their position and betrayed public trust need to go to prison."

Hudson's references include mention of "the leaked Ellison audio," which refers to an incident earlier in 2025 involving Minnesota Attorney General Keith Ellison. In that event, audio was released allegedly revealing discussions about state payment practices and provider relationships that drew criticism from some lawmakers and members of the public.

As a member of the Minnesota House of Representatives, Walter Hudson has been vocal on issues related to government oversight and transparency.
