Walter Hudson, a Minnesota state representative, posted several tweets on July 17, 2025, criticizing members of the Minnesota Democratic Party and reflecting on personal challenges as a father.

In a tweet published at 18:07 UTC, Hudson wrote: "Burglars and Tyrants: The Best Minnesota Democrats Have to Offer

00:51 - How an 'Alleged' Burglar Has Remained a State Senator for Over a Year

10:12 - Authoritarian Socialist on Track to Become Mayor of Minneapolis https://t.co/uvwwhlTgej"

Later that day, at 22:00 UTC, he shared a more personal reflection about parenting: "My top tension as a father is balancing the desire to disciple and the admiration of defiance.

Every time my boys push back, part of me says, 'Atta boy.'"

At 22:19 UTC, Hudson returned to his criticism of Minnesota Democrats with another post stating: "I know we're all disillusioned and numb. There's been so much fraud, corruption, and downright evil that we've grown callous to it.

But this really should be the breaking point.

Every. Single. Elected. Minnesota. Democrat... all went along with shielding this person. https://t.co/ByaYhMNeHEhttps://t.co/yhIDpxf2AV"

Hudson’s remarks come amid ongoing scrutiny in Minnesota politics regarding allegations against certain elected officials and broader debates about party accountability. As an elected Republican legislator in the state house representing District 30A since January 2023, Hudson has been an outspoken critic of Democratic leadership in Minnesota.
