Walter Hudson, a public figure and commentator, used his Twitter account to express criticism of Senate Democrats and voice concerns about legislative decisions during the closing days of the 2024 session.

On July 16, 2025, Hudson posted: "All Senate Democrats had to do to uphold the integrity of the institution and preserve any sense of their own decency was spend the final days of the 2024 legislative session in a tie. Most bills had passed. It would have cost next to nothing. But the Ring has one master."

Later that same day, he commented on perceived responses from Democrats with another post: '"Everything's fine." "We've made the necessary changes." "We take this seriously.' Democrats keep deflecting and patting themselves on the back and acting like there's nothing more to be done. Yet the stories keep coming."

On July 17, 2025, Hudson referenced a controversial decision involving an individual released despite past violent actions: "This is like releasing Jason Voorhees. The man literally axe murdered his entire family. Who benefits from this other than him? And why should he?"

The posts reflect ongoing debate over legislative accountability and transparency at both state and national levels following recent sessions in 2024. Discussions around party conduct and controversial releases have prompted renewed scrutiny from commentators such as Hudson.
