Walter Hudson, a commentator known for his outspoken views on social and political issues, shared a series of tweets on July 4, 2025. The tweets address controversial topics including the moral implications of abortion, national pride, and immigration policy.

In a tweet posted at 20:24 UTC, Hudson questioned the moral standing of Democrats regarding their stance on abortion. He stated, "Let's take this for granted, which is insane and untrue. The Democrats' alternative is to literally kill those children before they take their first breath. So. Where's the moral superiority here?"

Later that evening at 20:30 UTC, Hudson expressed interest in engaging with Minnesotans who do not feel proud to be American. He invited them to contact him without fear of judgment or shaming, writing "I'm very interested in having a public conversation with Minnesotans who are not proud to be an American. No judgement. No shaming. Just a quest to understand."

At 20:42 UTC on the same day, Hudson turned his attention to immigration policy by questioning those opposed to deporting illegal immigrants about their proposed solutions. He asked "If you don't want illegal immigrants deported, what's your solution? What does 'comprehensive immigration reform' look like?"
