Walter Hudson, a Minnesota legislator, has recently shared his thoughts on various political issues through a series of tweets. These posts cover topics ranging from personal experiences at the capitol to broader electoral and media concerns.

On July 3, 2025, Hudson reflected on his recent experiences as a legislator in Minnesota. He stated that "the experience of the past few weeks was unique." He noted that everyone working at the capitol currently feels vulnerable and mentioned that there are several legitimate questions arising from this situation.

Later that day, Hudson commented on ranked choice voting (RCV) while referencing a specific case involving Zohran Mamdani. In his tweet, he argued against RCV by stating that "one argument for it was that it produces more moderate candidates." However, he pointed out that Mamdani's victory in an RCV primary contradicts this claim. Hudson expressed concern over what he perceives as radical activists gaining control wherever RCV is implemented.

In another post on the same day, Hudson offered a critique related to former President Donald Trump and media coverage. He paraphrased a sentiment about Trump's legal cases against the media with "The merits of Trump's cases against the media don't matter because I don't like him." This statement reflects Hudson's perspective on how personal biases can influence opinions regarding legal matters involving Trump.
