Tom Emmer, a U.S. Congressman representing Minnesota’s 6th district since 2015, shared his perspectives through a series of tweets criticizing the actions and decisions of various political figures and groups. These social media posts address issues ranging from legal inconsistencies to immigration policies. Emmer, born in 1961 in South Bend, Indiana, has a legal background and has also served in the Minnesota House of Representatives.

In a tweet on April 24, 2025, Emmer expressed disapproval of District Attorney Mary Moriarty, whom he referred to as "Soros-backed." He alleged that she allowed "Tesla terrorist, Dylan Bryan Adams," to avoid severe consequences after causing significant property damage. Meanwhile, Emmer criticized Moriarty for pursuing severe charges against a young woman who caused less financial damage. "Soros-backed DA Mary Moriarty let Tesla terrorist, Dylan Bryan Adams, walk free after he caused over $20,000 in damages."

In another instance on April 25, 2025, Emmer criticized Governor Tim Walz, accusing him of incompetence over his response to the deportation of certain individuals. Emmer questioned Walz’s stance and highlighted it as a reason for his electoral defeat. "Governor Tim Walz looks like a fool WHINING about MS-13 gang members and pro-hamas students getting deported."

Also on April 25, 2025, Emmer commented on the political left's actions, suggesting they prioritize defending gang members and obstructing law enforcement over serving citizens. He remarked on what he perceives to be their misguided priorities, contrasting it with citizens' needs. "The left’s logic: • Fly to El Salvador to defend an MS-13 gang member."

Emmer, who lives in Delano and is a law graduate from the University of Alaska-Fairbanks and William Mitchell College of Law, continues to focus on justice and immigration issues as pivotal topics in his political narrative.
