Tom Emmer, a current member of the U.S. Congress representing Minnesota's 6th district since 2015, recently took to social media to share his insights on various topics. Emmer, who succeeded Michele Bachmann and previously served in the Minnesota House of Representatives, shared his thoughts across a series of tweets.

In a tweet from April 23, 2025, Emmer discussed the ramifications of a health care program approved by Governor Tim Walz. “Two years ago, @Tim_Walz approved FREE taxpayer funded health care for illegals. The program launched in January and is already costing taxpayers more than $550 million dollars and is expected to rapidly increase. To add to the hypocrisy, Democrats are holding up funding for,” he wrote.

Later that day, Emmer commented on the media reporting, stating, "MSNBC & CNN only mentioned that Garcia was an illegal alien in 10% of their reports. This is the definition of Fake News!” The mention reflects his discontent with how certain media outlets report on immigration issues.

On April 24, 2025, Emmer shared another tweet, quoting Harrison W. Fields, "Why would a grown man sue the Trump administration to allow other biological males to participate in women’s sports? This is creepy and anti-woman.” Emmer called the commentary from Fields "spot on," aligning himself with the sentiment regarding participation in women's sports.

Tom Emmer, born in 1961 in South Bend, Indiana, has been a vocal figure in U.S. politics and continues to express his views on legislative actions and media reporting through his platform.
