How did A.C.G.C. Public School District students do on 2021-22 MCA and MTAS Reading tests?

A.C.G.C. Public School District ranked third in the Meeker County for test participation, with 457 students taking the Reading portion of the Minnesota Comprehensive Assessment and the Minnesota Test of Academic Skills in the 2021-22 school year, according to the Minnesota Department of Education.

The number of A.C.G.C. Public School District students taking the tests in the 2021-22 school year rose by 4.6% over the previous year.

A.C.G.C. Public School District's students achieved an average Reading proficiency rate of 39% in 2021-22 school year.

10th-grade students stood out with 17% of them exceeding standards in Reading, which was the highest recorded proficiency at the district.

On the other hand, seventh grade students had the most room for improvement, with 54% not meeting the expected standards.

A.C.G.C. Public School District encompasses schools within Meeker County and has a main office in Grove City.

Minnesota students take the MCA annually (or the MTAS, for students with cognitive disabilities) to determine their academic readiness. Not every grade is tested each year.

Analysis from the Nation’s Report Card showed Math and Reading scores have fallen significantly in the last decade. Science scores have been steady in recent years.

Minnesota Department of Education issues could lead to data irregularities.
