CITY OF BUFFALO: City Hall Doors Temporarily Closed – Here’s How Staff Can Still Help

Close

City of Buffalo issued the following announcement on Nov. 20.

City Hall is temporarily closed to the public due to the impacts of COVID-19 to protect the safety of our community and ensure we can continue providing quality service to the City of Buffalo.  City employees in every department are still hard at work to continue providing essential services to the Buffalo community, but the way you communicate with City staff will change.  Our public safety, emergency response, water, electric, stormwater, and sanitary sewer utilities, streets and parks departments, civic center, airport, and liquor stores continue to operate as normally scheduled with necessary COVID precautions in place.  Public Meetings will still be occurring, though we encourage attendance by Zoom.  Thank you for your continued patience and understanding.

Email will be the best way to get in touch with City Staff at this time, and in-person appointments can be set-up, as necessary. Contact by phone is available, but due to modified staff schedules and work locations, responses to voicemails may be delayed – email will be the most efficient method to contact staff.  Below is some key contact information for questions you may have.
