State Rep. Dean Urdahl recently urged Frontier Communication patrons who are eligible to receive rebates for faulty services to apply by the July 20 deadline.

The Minnesota Public Utilities Commission required Frontier Communication to compensate customers who have experienced poor quality service within the current year.

The Minnesota Department of Commerce shows information concerning the refunds that were distributed in bill statements and by direct mail during the month of April.

Urdahl made a recent statement about the rebates that are owed to residents.

“The Department of Commerce indicates more than 2,000 Minnesotans already have filed a claim, but there must be a whole lot of other people who are eligible since Frontier and its affiliate, Citizen Telecommunications, reportedly serves 75,000 households and businesses,” Urdahl told the Minnesota House of Representatives website. “I would hope other people who have used Frontier will check to see if they qualify before the deadline.”
