CITY OF CLEARWATER: Snowplowing Policy

Snowplow

City of Clearwater issued the following announcement on Oct. 30.

Snow Removal Policy Reminder for the City of Clearwater:

Winter will soon be beginning once again in Minnesota and with that comes snow. The City would like to remind residents of the City's snow and ice control policy.

It is the responsibility of the owner or occupant of any property adjacent to a public sidewalk to clear it within 24 hours after the snow fall.  Failure to clear the sidewalk will result in a violation, the City will have the sidewalk cleared and the cost will be billed to the adjacent property owner.

Lastly, the City asks for your assistance with the general maintenance of our fire hydrants; if you notice the fiberglass marker that extends up from the hydrant is missing, please contact City Hall so it may be replaced.  For a look at the full snow and ice control policy link below.
