Friday, Feb. 28: Monticello High School standout Sammi May’s college team loses to Embry-Riddle FL Eagles

On Friday, Feb. 28, former Monticello High School standout Sammi May’s current college team, the Rollins Tars, lost 7-4 in their NCAA Division II softball game against the Embry-Riddle FL Eagles.

The game took place at Rollins Softball Stadium at Martin Luther King, Jr. Park. This was their first matchup against the Eagles this season.

The Tars’ next game is scheduled for Saturday, March 1 at 1 p.m. at Rollins Softball Stadium at Martin Luther King, Jr. Park against Embry-Riddle FL Eagles.
