City of Delano issued the following announcement on June 12.
The Delano Planning Commission and City Council will be considering a zoning amendment to allow chickens within the city limits. The Delano Planning Commission discussed this ordinance at their meeting on Monday, recommending holding a public hearing at their July 13 meeting. Council will review the Planning Commissions recommendation at their regular meeting next Tuesday, June 16.
Public comment regarding chickens can be submitted online, by mail (PO Box 108) or by email to Paula Bauman at pbauman@delano.mn.us
