Walter Hudson, a Minnesota state representative, shared a series of posts on October 9, 2025, discussing topics ranging from public policy and scripture to political party dynamics and national security distinctions.

In his first post, Hudson commented on the use of religious texts in policy debates. On October 9, 2025, he wrote: "I love non-believers citing scripture as an argument. How about this... Tell me you're comfortable setting public policy consistent with all of Leviticus, not just your cherry-picked verse. Then explain how treating people like yourself means exempting them from the law?"

Later that day, Hudson addressed the application of philosophical principles to real-world scenarios and distinctions between crime and war. On October 9, 2025, he stated: "While I appreciate Rand's principles, he doesn’t know how to apply them in the real world. Here he says, 'There must be a clear line defined between crime and war.' Fair. Here it is. If you’re a foreign national, it’s war. If you’re an American citizen, it’s crime. Easy."

In a subsequent post on the same date, Hudson discussed the future direction of the Democratic Party and the role Republicans should play following electoral contests. He wrote: "The Democrat Party needs to be thoroughly defeated in 2026. Only then will they re-evaluate their approach. Republicans should guide Democrats toward restoring loyal opposition, rather than mocking their defeat."

Hudson has served in the Minnesota House of Representatives since January 2023.
