Walter Hudson, a Minnesota state representative, posted a series of statements on his X (formerly Twitter) account on October 7, 2025, addressing topics ranging from social order to political partisanship and public figures in Minnesota politics.

In an early morning post, Hudson commented on the restoration of order, stating, "Order will be restored with much rending of robes and gnashing of teeth. Whether we deserve its blessings will be determined entirely by how much we don't care what the profane think." (October 7, 2025).

Later that day, Hudson addressed the nature of contemporary partisanship and the topic of war. He wrote, "Maher is correct. The new 'partisanship' is between those who want a war and those who don't. That said, like every just conflict in history, those of us who don't want war won't get to decide whether we have one. We'll only get to decide whether we win it." (October 7, 2025).

In another post from the same day, Hudson discussed Mary Moriarty, Hennepin County Attorney, as well as Minnesota Governor Tim Walz and Attorney General Keith Ellison. He stated, "Say what you will about @MaryMoriarty, she's a true believer. Her frustration is that between true believers and manipulative ruling clergy like @GovTimWalz and @keithellison. She would take an L for what she believes. They will not." (October 7, 2025).

Walter Hudson serves in the Minnesota House of Representatives and is known for his commentary on political and social issues in the state.
