Walter Hudson, a public figure and commentator, posted a series of tweets on September 6 and 7, 2025, addressing topics ranging from foreign drug cartels to public demonstrations and business policy.

On September 6, Hudson expressed strong views regarding the use of military force against international criminal organizations. He wrote, "I can think of fewer more justified uses of military force than annihilating foreign drug cartels. If their host countries won't reign them in, they have no legitimate claim to sovereignty." This statement reflects ongoing debates about the role of national sovereignty in international law enforcement efforts.

Later that day, Hudson questioned the motivations behind certain public protests in Washington D.C., stating, "Where does one garner the passion to travel to DC to march against... clean safe streets?" The comment appears to reference recent demonstrations concerning urban policies or policing practices.

On September 7, Hudson turned his attention to business advocacy groups and legislative policy. He remarked, "It's true. The Chamber has tried to have it both ways, enabling the erosion of their own interests. As a result, Republicans should maintain paid family medical leave, exempt small business, and shift the total cost to the big chamber players. You get what you donate to."

Hudson's comments arrive amid broader national discussions on drug trafficking and U.S.-Mexico border security as well as debates over paid family medical leave policies. His critique of business lobbying groups echoes concerns raised by some lawmakers who argue that large chambers sometimes pursue policies that may not always align with all their members' interests.
