On July 11, 2025, Lucero commented on the topic of crime and political leadership. He stated, "Make crime illegal again. This is EXACTLY why we voted for Trump !!"

On July 12, 2025, Lucero referenced his involvement in litigation concerning Minnesota's election laws.
