St. Michael-Albertville Senior High School standout Sophie Juntunen’s college team lost in NCAA Division II softball game on Thursday, April 24

On Thursday, April 24, former St. Michael-Albertville Senior High School standout Sophie Juntunen’s current college team, the Minnesota Crookston Golden Eagles, lost 4-3 in their NCAA Division II softball game against the North Dakota Fighting Hawks.

The game took place at Albrecht Field. This was their first matchup against the Fighting Hawks this season.

The Golden Eagles’ next game is scheduled for Saturday, April 26 at 1 p.m. at Koehler Hall of Fame Field against Northern State Wolves.
