City of Delano issued the following announcement on Nov. 11.
Motorists will see single-lane closures on Highway 12 starting Tuesday, Nov. 12 while crews from the Minnesota Department of Transportation make safety improvements.
Crews are installing flexible rubber poles called delineators in the center of the Highway 12. The poles help prevent traffic from crossing the center line.
Crews will work from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. weekdays and all day Saturday and Sunday, except between 3 and 6 p.m. Work will happen between County Road 90 and County Line Road in Delano. Work is expected to take eight days.
Flagging operations will be in place to help direct traffic. Motorists should watch for the flaggers and plan for delays.
Motorists should check www.511mn.org for real-time traffic updates.
