Wright County Taxpayer Services announced on Apr. 17 that property tax payments for the first half of the year are due by May 15, 2026. Property owners are urged to review their statements and make payments by this date to avoid penalties.
This reminder is important because missing the deadline could result in financial penalties for residents. Ensuring timely payment helps support local services funded by property taxes.
According to Wright County Taxpayer Services, property tax statements were mailed out in late March. Residents who have not received their statement may have an incorrect or outdated mailing address on file and should contact the office to update their information. Statements can also be accessed online through the county’s website, where residents can search using either their Parcel ID or address.
The county also offers a notification service for property tax announcements, allowing residents to sign up for reminders before deadlines. Typically, one or two reminders are sent out in the weeks leading up to the due date.
For any questions or assistance regarding statements or payments, Wright County encourages residents to contact Taxpayer Services directly at 763-684-8617.
