Tom Emmer, U.S. Congressman representing Minnesota’s 6th district, shared several posts on his social media accounts between October 12 and 13, 2025, addressing topics from agriculture to legislative matters and political events.
On October 12, Emmer marked National Farmer’s Day by expressing gratitude to American farmers. He wrote, "On National Farmer’s Day, we thank our nation’s farmers for their work to keep us fed and to support communities. In Minnesota, we’re fortunate to be home to some of the best farmers in the world!
Farmers aren’t told this enough, but we are grateful for you today and every https://t.co/AsPfy0q8Cy".
Later that day, Emmer commented on legislative developments in Congress. Referring to House Minority Leader Hakeem Jeffries and a continuing resolution (CR), Emmer stated, "Hakeem Jeffries can “view” the CR we passed in the House however he wants.
But the REALITY is that our funding bill is nonpartisan and as clean as they come. Not to mention Democrats supported the same extension 13 times under Biden. https://t.co/jhomhuV5nP".
