Walter Hudson, a Minnesota state representative, posted a series of tweets on October 7, 2025, addressing the conduct of Democrats and referencing media figures and religious themes.

In his first tweet at 01:10 UTC, Hudson wrote, "Turning down the temperature" is not possible in this context. Democrats are an open flame."

Later that morning at 01:38 UTC, he commented on reactions to television host Jimmy Kimmel's brief suspension: "When Jimmy Kimmel was fired for a mere three days for lying abhorrently, it apparently merited response from every prominent Democrat in the country, including former president @BarackObama and my own @GovTimWalz. In the face of this... they're silent. To hell with them."

At 03:09 UTC on the same day, Hudson made a statement connecting ridicule and Christian belief: " Ridicule of the virtuous by the profane is impotent. You'd have thought the resurrection of Christ would have proven this point."

Walter Hudson serves as a member of the Minnesota House of Representatives for District 30A.
