Tom Emmer, U.S. Congressman representing Minnesota’s 6th district since 2015, addressed a range of topics in recent social media posts, including the loss of law enforcement officers in Pennsylvania, political violence attributed to Antifa, and his participation in a policy discussion on digital assets.

On September 17, 2025, Emmer expressed condolences regarding an incident involving law enforcement officers in Pennsylvania. He stated: "We are devastated by the loss of multiple law enforcement officers in PA. Our prayers are with their families and the officers who were injured."

The following day, September 18, 2025, Emmer commented on left-wing political violence. He wrote: "Antifa’s record of violence and criminality to advance their warped and depraved ideology 100% meets the definition for domestic terrorism. For too long, left-wing political violence has been swept under the rug—no more. @POTUS is holding these TERRORISTS accountable."

Later that same day, Emmer highlighted his appearance at a policy event focused on government funding and digital assets. He posted: "This morning, I joined @PuckNews for their Power Breakfast series. Stay tuned for my full discussion with @LACaldwellDC on the future of digital assets, Republicans’ plan to fund the government, and much more."

Emmer has served as a member of Congress since replacing Michele Bachmann in 2015 and previously held office in the Minnesota House of Representatives from 2005 to 2011. Born in South Bend, Indiana in 1961 and currently residing in Delano at age 62, he holds degrees from the University of Alaska-Fairbanks (BA) and William Mitchell College of Law (JD).
