Tom Emmer, U.S. Congressman representing Minnesota’s 6th district since 2015, has recently addressed topics ranging from digital asset policy to public safety and constitutional history in a series of social media posts.

On September 16, 2025, Emmer shared his involvement in a policy event focused on cryptocurrency regulation. He wrote, "It was a pleasure to moderate a panel discussion today on the future of digital asset policy. Our goal is clear: we must get the CLARITY Act to @POTUS’ desk ASAP. Thanks to @SpeakerJohnson for hosting this event and ensuring crypto remains a @HouseGOP priority."

The following day, Emmer commented on crime rates in Minneapolis, referencing local leadership. On September 17, 2025, he posted, "If even the Star Tribune can admit there's a crime problem, so-called 'leaders' like Jacob Frey and Tim Walz should be able to as well. It's past time to make Minneapolis safe again!"

Later that same day, Emmer marked Constitution Day by reflecting on American history. He stated, "On this day in 1787, the Founders signed the Constitution of the United States. Motivated by liberty, justice, and hope for America’s future, they laid the cornerstone of our great nation. 238 years later, we must take seriously our duty to support and defend that which these".

Emmer's recent comments come as he continues his legislative work in Congress—a role he has held since replacing Michele Bachmann in 2015 after previously serving in the Minnesota House of Representatives from 2005 to 2011. Born in South Bend, Indiana in 1961 and currently residing in Delano at age 62, Emmer holds degrees from both the University of Alaska-Fairbanks (BA) and William Mitchell College of Law (JD).
