Walter Hudson, a Minnesota state legislator, posted several comments on his Twitter account on September 17, 2025, focusing on political events in Minnesota and reactions to federal legal issues.

In one post, Hudson questioned the circumstances surrounding the dismissal of a witness ahead of a fraud hearing. He wrote, "Your not supposed to notice the convienant timing of a key witness to fraud in Minnesota being dismissed from his appointment before a fraud hearing. Instead - LOOK OVER HERE! - Walz issued an executive order! (... to create a smokescreen IG position he unilaterally controls)" (September 17, 2025).

Another tweet from Hudson contained only a link: "https://t.co/HuGtvm3Ty9" (September 17, 2025).

Later that day, Hudson commented on statements by public figures regarding immunity from prosecution. He stated, " Let me get this straight. According to @ericswalwell and @atrupar, if @FBIDirectorKash once called you a 'gangster,' that means you should have total immunity from federal prosecution past and future. And they think that idiotic premise is some gotcha. My God." (September 17, 2025).

Hudson's posts reference Governor Tim Walz of Minnesota and ongoing scrutiny over government actions related to alleged fraud cases in the state. The creation of new oversight positions and executive orders by Governor Walz has been subject to debate within Minnesota politics.
