Tom Emmer, U.S. Congressman representing Minnesota’s 6th district since 2015, addressed a range of political and social issues in a series of posts on September 15, 2025.

In a post published at 14:38 UTC, Emmer criticized Democratic policies, stating, "Democrats' soft-on-crime policies can kill people. It doesn't have to be this way. Republicans, led by @POTUS, are the party of safety and security and offer a better way forward."

Later that day at 21:15 UTC, he marked the anniversary of a significant diplomatic agreement in the Middle East: "Five years ago today, the signing of the Abraham Accords, brokered by @POTUS, marked a pivotal moment in the pursuit of peace and security in the Middle East. PEACE THROUGH STRENGTH!"

At 23:32 UTC on the same day, Emmer reflected on his participation at an event honoring Charlie Kirk: "It was a great honor to speak at a vigil remembering Charlie Kirk this evening. His death has providentially brought our nation to a turning point. Will we continue down a path of reckless vitriol and hate? Or will we carry on the legacy Charlie left?"

Emmer has served as Minnesota's representative in Congress since replacing Michele Bachmann in 2015. He previously held office in the Minnesota House of Representatives from 2005 to 2011. Born in South Bend, Indiana in 1961 and currently residing in Delano at age 62, Emmer holds degrees from both the University of Alaska-Fairbanks (BA) and William Mitchell College of Law (JD).
