Walter Hudson, a public commentator and Minnesota state legislator, posted a series of tweets on September 11, 2025, addressing political discourse and reactions from prominent figures. In his first tweet, Hudson referenced John McWhorter, describing him as "a creditientialed, celebrated academic and columnist for the @nytimes." He continued: "Put simply, he's the mainstream Left. If you listen to this and still think this is a 'both sides' problem, we're done. You're to be defeated, not talked to or taken seriously." (September 11, 2025).

In a subsequent post the same day, Hudson drew on religious imagery: "God calls his people 'sheep.' It's not a complement. Sheep are dumb and vulnerable. But they have inherent value and are worthy of protection. It's encouraging to see some, after yesterday, recognize the wolves in our midst." (September 11, 2025).

Later that evening, Hudson commented on remarks made by Congresswoman Ilhan Omar: "Here's Congresswoman Ilhan Omar openly insinuating that Kirk got what was coming to him. Again, telling me this is a 'both sides' issue is the quickest way to get dismissed as an unserious person. This is a *congresswoman*, not some TikTok influencer. She's knows her base." (September 11, 2025).

John McWhorter is known for his columns in The New York Times and has been recognized as an influential voice in contemporary debates about race and culture in America. Ilhan Omar serves as a U.S. Representative from Minnesota's 5th congressional district.
