Walter Hudson, a public official and Minnesota state representative, posted several messages on his X (formerly Twitter) account on September 10 and 11, 2025. The posts address topics including gun rights, political violence, and public figures.

In a message dated September 10, Hudson wrote: "Let's make this happen @TPUSA Let's stand firm and unafraid." The post appears to reference Turning Point USA (TPUSA), a conservative youth organization.

On September 11, Hudson commented on gun ownership in the context of political tensions. He stated: '"Easy access to weapons" helps me defend myself and my family in an environment where 50%+ of leftists think it's "somewhat justified" to kill Donald Trump. Guns are not the problem. "By any means necessary" socialists are.' In this post, Hudson links concerns about political rhetoric with personal safety and support for gun rights.

Later the same day, Hudson praised Nick Freitas, a Republican politician from Virginia known for his advocacy on individual liberties. He wrote: " When I grow up, I want to be @NickJFreitas... one of the only people who makes me think, 'Dang, I wish I said that.'"

Walter Hudson serves as a member of the Minnesota House of Representatives representing District 30A since January 2023. TPUSA is recognized as a national nonprofit organization focused on promoting conservative values among students across college campuses in the United States. Nick Freitas is currently serving as a delegate in the Virginia House of Delegates.
