Walter Hudson, a Minnesota state representative, has recently posted a series of statements on his social media account addressing topics related to individual rights and immigration enforcement.

On September 4, 2025, Hudson wrote, "My kingdom for a critical thinker. Listen, you don't have to be religious to acknowledge the underlying truth that our rights come from 'our Creator.' It's another way of saying that they're inherent in our nature as human beings."

The following day, on September 5, 2025, he commented on labor practices involving undocumented immigrants: "Consequences for those who hire and harbor illegals is absolutely essential. They're engaged in inherently coercive labor practices, and breaking the law. The fewer employers willing to do that, the more self-deportation, the less raids. Everybody wins."

Later that same day, Hudson posted a brief statement referencing an unspecified situation: "... this is the least of his worries..."

Hudson’s comments reflect ongoing debates about the origins of individual rights and the enforcement of immigration laws in the United States. As a member of the Minnesota House of Representatives, Hudson has previously addressed these issues in legislative discussions and public forums.
