Tom Emmer, a member of the U.S. Congress representing Minnesota’s 6th district since 2015, has been vocal on social media regarding various issues. Emmer, who succeeded Michele Bachmann in this role, has previously served in the Minnesota House of Representatives from 2005 to 2011. Born in South Bend, Indiana, in 1961, Emmer holds a BA from the University of Alaska-Fairbanks and a JD from William Mitchell College of Law.
