Tom Emmer, the U.S. Congressman representing Minnesota’s 6th district, has recently shared his perspectives on several issues via social media. Emmer, who succeeded Michele Bachmann in 2015 and has served since then, addresses allegations and public controversies in his posts.
On April 16, 2025, Emmer commented on certain troubling allegations that had come to his attention. He expressed his belief that the Department of Justice (DOJ) should take these matters seriously, emphasizing that "no one is above the law" here.
In another post later the same day, Emmer criticized Governor Mills, asserting that she is not opposing former President Donald Trump, but rather young female athletes. He echoed Riley Gaines's views, stating that as a 77-year-old, Governor Mills is advocating policies that disadvantage young girls in sports and is forcing individuals into spaces designated for women here.
Emmer also called for accountability from Senator Chris Van Hollen regarding his actions. He shared a statement from Patty Morin, questioning why the Senator did not properly acknowledge her daughter following a tragic incident, while using taxpayer money to travel to El Salvador here.
