Tom Emmer, a current member of the U.S. Congress and representative of Minnesota’s 6th District, recently expressed his views on several political and social issues through a series of tweets. On April 14, 2025, Emmer highlighted President Trump's immigration policy intentions, stating "President Trump says he wants to deport as many illegal criminals as possible to El Salvador." He criticized the previous administration's handling of border security by pointing out that "Joe Biden and Border Czar Harris allowed murderers, rapists, and vicious gang members to flood into our country unvetted." Emmer noted that Trump plans to address and rectify these issues.

On April 15, 2025, Emmer commented on a criminal case regarding an attack on a Tesla dealership, declaring on Twitter that "This is the face of a criminal thug arrested for torching a Tesla dealership." He expressed concern over continued attacks on Tesla's CEO, Elon Musk, stating that "The relentless assaults on @elonmusk must stop now." He accused the political left of supporting such behavior.

Later on April 15, 2025, Emmer shared observations on political trends, noting increased voter affiliation with the MAGA movement. He remarked that "More voters are identifying with the MAGA movement; meanwhile, the Democrats' approval rating is dropping to a record low." Additionally, he expressed personal satisfaction by stating "It feels great to be a part of a WINNING team that is putting America first!"

Tom Emmer has served in the U.S. Congress, representing Minnesota's 6th District, since 2015. He previously served in the Minnesota House of Representatives from 2005 to 2011. Tom Emmer, 62, was born in South Bend, Indiana in 1961. He currently lives in Delano. Emmer graduated from the University of Alaska-Fairbanks in 1984 with a BA. He also earned a JD from William Mitchell College of Law in 1988.
