Tom Emmer, a U.S. Congress member representing Minnesota's 6th district since 2015, has been vocal on various national issues through his Twitter account. Emmer previously served in the Minnesota House of Representatives and holds a JD from William Mitchell College of Law.

In a post dated April 7, 2025, Emmer shared his support for a Supreme Court decision backing the Trump administration's enforcement of the Alien Enemies Act. He emphasized that the decision aimed to curb illegal activities by the Tren de Aragua gang and urged illegal criminals to self-deport or face imprisonment.

On April 8, 2025, Emmer further reiterated his stance, calling for illegal criminals to leave the country through a concise call to action.

Later the same day, in a tweet, he applauded President Trump for his accomplishments within the first 100 days of his term. Emmer highlighted efforts to strengthen border security and reduce government inefficiencies, proclaiming "America is back!"
