Tom Emmer, currently serving as a U.S. Congressman for Minnesota’s 6th district, has recently expressed his views on various issues through a series of tweets. Emmer, who has been in office since 2015 after succeeding Michele Bachmann, is known for his vocal stance on different policy matters.

In a tweet from April 2, 2025, Emmer enthusiastically supported President Donald Trump's recent policy on reciprocal tariffs. "It is a GREAT day to be an American! President @realdonaldtrump is putting our country first by instituting reciprocal tariffs on countries that have been ripping us off for decades. This will allow for businesses across our great nation to THRIVE and for more products to have"

On April 3, 2025, Emmer expressed his support for a young athlete affected by the current sports regulations. He tweeted about Stephanie Turner, a young female fencer disqualified from a tournament for refusing to compete against a biological male. "A young female fencer, Stephanie Turner, was recently disqualified from her tournament after refusing to compete against a biological male. It broke my heart to hear her say, 'There is nothing for me, and there is everything for him.' Stephanie, I stand with you and will"

In another tweet on April 4, 2025, Emmer criticized government spending, calling out what he considers wasted tax dollars. "My top 5 leaderboard of shame for WASTED tax dollars that @DOGE has uncovered. Americans are DONE funding DEI, handouts for illegals, and the Democrats woke agenda "
