State Rep. Dean Urdahl shared some of the ways the community is working together during the COVID-19 outbreak and how the grocery stores are working to keep up on a stock and providing supplies to the community during the global pandemic.
With the many challenges that the community is facing as a result of the pandemic, local stores are trying to make it less difficult.
In District 18A, there is a good amount of stores that have created shopping hours that are specific to the more at-risk residents of COVID-19 and some of these markets offer delivery. If you are looking for a specific store in the district and their new hours, you can find them on Urdahl's Facebook page. There you will find the hours and days of operation as well as the hours specific to the more vulnerable to the coronavirus illness.
The Minnesota state patrol was giving back on March 19 by assisting the Minnesota Department of Health (MDH) with delivering medical masks to public health investigators. These troopers delivered over 1,000 masks to public health investigators in Mankato, Rochester, Fergus Falls, St. Cloud, Bemidji, and Duluth, all MDH locations.
